COURTS STAYING POT CHARGES ACROSS CANADA
OTTAWA ( WIRE ) - Criminal charges for possessing small amounts of pot could be put on hold in provinces across the country following court rulings in Ontario and P.E.I., says prominent legal expert Alan Young.
CONGRESS COMES AFTER A FEDERAL JUDGE
NATIONAL LAW JOURNAL -- Congress is coming after a federal judge in Minnesota who, it asserts, has let drug offenders off too easily, triggering a tug-of-war over the independence of the judiciary.

NEVADA'S POT DUI LAW QUESTIONED
ASSOCIATED PRESS -- Police and prosecutors clashed Monday with advocates of a bill changing the Nevada law dictating the legal levels of marijuana in a motorist's blood stream. Under the current law, any marijuana use could make it illegal for you to operate a motor vehicle for weeks.
