31 Mar 2006 (CBS4 News) DORAL Immigration and Customs officials are showing off the results of a massive crackdown on South Florida head shops.ICE special agents served federal search and seizure warrants at nearly half a dozen shops, and seized 5,500 items of drug paraphernalia worth more than more than $250,000.
$11 Million Worth Of Marijuana Found In Basement
28 Mar 2006 (CBS) PHILADELPHIA Police announced two major busts that brought in millions in drugs and took an arsenal of weapons off the streets Monday.Officials said five people have been arrested and approximately $11 million worth of marijuana and $10,000 worth of crack-cocaine was seized in two separate drug busts.
In what may be the largest amount of marijuana ever seized, officials said over 2,500 pounds of marijuana was confiscated during the raid of 1129 North 63rd Street Saturday evening.

And it was a burglary – of 200 pounds of pot that was being stored there.Officials say the suspects entered the Crane and Co. Salon on Shirley Avenue to break into a freezer chest where the marijuana was being stored.

21 Mar 2006 FAIRFAX, Va. -- A high school teacher is under investigation after a student reported receiving marijuana from the teacher, Fairfax County police said.On Friday, the teacher allegedly gave marijuana to a 17-year-old boy in a school hallway after class, police said. The student took the marijuana to a school security officer, and police were called.
83-year-old admits being marijuana farmer
21 Mar 2006 An 83-year-old Shreveport man pleaded guilty and got probation today for growing and selling marijuana from his home.Unis Coleman pleaded guilty in Caddo District Court to distribution of marijuana charges. In a plea agreement with prosecutors, he received a suspended prison sentence, probation and a $1,500 fine.
