Hey all,
Can I get some ideas/opinions on when to flush out hydro systems?
I've been doing it every 4-5 weeks and before flowering. Sound about right?

Hey Budz..Let me say a good flushing never hurts.I only flower in hydro.I Flush usually once during flowering cycle.When I change my resevoir(when topping off water is equal to original amount)I'll do a good flush.Now in veg every 4-5 sounds alright.If you aren't overferting the salt build up should be alright but like I said a periodic good flushing will do more good than harm.Sounds like you are doing them right,IMHO..PEACE.

Like Overdrive said, too much will never hurt. I use a hybrid system and change my reservoir about every 15 days, while I condition the fresh water I just run ph adjusted through for about 18 hrs, then for the last 3-5 days of flowering use a good flushing agent(liquid gold or something) to remove all the un-metabolized salt from your buds. Happpy growin'!

Hey Budzman
I flush my systems every 10 days approx. I use a drip system and ebb and flow beds. The drippers need the flush often to not plug up, and I just like to make sure there aren't any salts building, to stop the flow of nutes. Besides, It gets me into habits of keeping things clean.
