I am a real newbie and I was wondering if any of you experts could help me out.
I am growing my plants in a wick system, which is filled with 1/2 perlite and 1/2 vermiculate. I am using a 15-15-18-ratio fert. at a concentration of 1 tablespoon of fert. Per gallon of water. Actually I used some 30-10-10 fert as well at a concentration of 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Would this be all right? The wicked pots are all place in a single big reservoir, which is filled with 1" of the fert. solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My plants are 8 inches tall right now and are lit by a 400 HPS light.
