I think that methane is the main gas in an ill wind. I do not think that there is any benifit to the plant from mathane however there may be trace elements that could be used. If you adopt this practice you may develop spotted leaves. These brown spots should not be diagnosed as some nute deficiency, or presence of critters. Rather, they should be hailed as proof of gods intent that man develop jet propulsion for transport. Hence the term "racing stripes".
Seriously though, I don't think it'll help. Further the methane may be dangerous round that HOT light. Try to explain that one in the emergency ward. Man, wouldn't that just burn yer ass.

Sorta ridin' the wire here. Although the thread is amusing, and grow related, I wouldn't want to see a flurry of "humor" posts. Rather prefer to remain focused on the job at hand. That is after all, why I came in the 1st place.
As for the "flamin" responses well, some tend to side to it. I personally find it more abhorrent than the juvenile humor but, if I were to feel need to bitch about it, I might find a more tactful delivery rather than jump right into the boat.
If it's any consellation to any who are trying to hold to a semblence of sanity to this thread, You can fart at your compost pile, that won't hurt; Not at your plants, your friends or your family (including pets even if they start it).
