The $250 pizza

Well, I finally did it, I took the plunge and cooked with pot, I made a pizza. I took a nice fat Z of WB and crumbled it all over the sauce before I put the cheese on and baked it in the oven. Everything turned out cool. Problem is, is that it tasted like SH#T!! God! I had to force down every swallow and ended up throwing most all of it in the garbage, $250 down the drain. I just couldn't stomach the aweful taste. What can I mix with pot when I cook it to cover it's aweful taste? The only thing that I can think of is fudge maybe. Any ideas?

Damn! You tossed it??!! Well, I guess if you got it,it dont matter much huh? Ya know what REALLY hides the taste? Mint Chocolate Chip cookies! You cant taste weed in these at all! Chow em like its not even in there. I cant stand the taste of weed either, but I'll ALWAYS stomach it. Once I mixed weed w/ a cup of ketchup and nuked it, then smeared it on a soft taco shell and ate it. Talk about NASTY! I felt like I was gonna vomit after every bite! I toughed it out though,and an hour later,I was happy I did! I hope the mint choc. chip cookie idea will help you out. I used to eat shrooms w/ peanut butter,and that covered that up great. So if you can think of a recipe w/ peanut butter,I'm sure you'll be satisfied. -GreenFun!

I've been thinking about fudge a bit. And taffy. Taffish. I think hash would cook up a better batch of fudge than foliage would. Lemme see; fudge is basically chocolate, butter, cream and sugar. These ingredients need to be simmered just right and the hash might change the testure some. Hash oil would be the best source of THC for this. Maybe for a bound of fudge, use two or three Z's of oil to get a propper testure. I'll try to fish out some simple recipies, but I can't try any THChocolate as I don't have all the resources. Let us know how it turns out.

Hi everybody:
A couple of things here. I've had a few discussions with forum users about this whole taste thing. And there's a couple of options available to you...
Some time ago, I posted a cooking tip about soaking your bud in water before cooking with it. This eliminates the chloryphyl and therefore the bitter taste. (please see cooking forum archives for details)
Another option is to cook with peanut butter, there's something about peanut butter that makes bud easier to swallow.
And my personal favorite: PLUG YOUR NOSE WHILE EATING IT!! This is what I do, I just keep my nose plugged and have juice close by to chase down the mouthfuls; you won't taste a thing!
* and a special note to $250 pizza boy: you know, when you're eating pot, the idea is to eat as little food as possible, especially if you're using buds. You need to eat it on an empty stomach too. Eating a whole pizza is silly because then you need too much pot for your recipe (hence the $250). There's lots of recipes in the forum which use a lot less pot.
In fact, the best thing in my opinion, if you just want to eat it to get stoned, is this: get a bag of great shake and make Friday's buzzin' butter. Put it on 2 pieces of toast and eat on an empty stomach. (with your nose plugged)
** you only need a gram or 2 to get stoned if you're using really good buds.

when hash was pleantiful back in 70's late 60's. i made loads of brownies, and cookies, once made peanut butter cookies the hash wiped out the PB flavor, tasted like hash i had to tell people they were PB cookies. Throwing a gram of lebanese into a cup of coffee or tea, was unbelievable and easy. Can't get hash anymore, i'd love an easy way to eat grass that would do the trick.

I've never experienced this bitter taste you're all talking about. Personally I like the flavour of cooked marijuana, and find it somewhat nutty tasting.

I've always LOVED the taste, slightly reminiscent of a pine forest in autumn, almost like a pesto flavor. hmmmm, yummi (rubbing tummy)

You poor bastard I really feel sorry for you. I've done this many times with pot in food. Always tastes like shit no matter what anybody says. I can always taste the pot in it!!!! Sympathy out to you my friend!!!!!!!
