Oh, I think Magnesium is mobile also. The new growth will use the magnesium from the older growth; that's why it shows up in the old growth first. But you are right that the plants look pretty much OK. Some posters here would sh*t if they could see the yellow leaves on my plants. Anyone else got an opinion? I would like to be corrected if I am wrong.

Its a hearty plant after all. Most things I've learned not to get too concerned about. And I still get killer nugs. Kill the mites and mildew, use a good fert, give 'em lots of love.

I have always thought of Magnesium as mobile. And don't worry about those plants, man, they look fine. I have been battling weird nutrient problems for months (first indoor grow)and have some pretty yellow leaves-the pro's would giggle. One of my plants has literally 3 sets of very pale green fan leaves left, but also sports a nice skunky spear that might yeild me 4-5 grams after curing....better than nothing.

So what IS the ph of your soil for each plant? Is it possible one plant likes the acidity and the other does not? Can there be that much variation between plants that you should not apply hard rules? Have you tried a weak Nitrogen/Mg soultion on the leaves? I know you said you gave it epsom salt, did you wait 2 or 3 days to see the effect? Mine took a few days to show improvement. Knee-jerk reactions have been my downfall from the beginning.

I suppose it could be genetics. I just grabbed the seeds from some weed I had, so I know nothing about the strain. It could just be a really erratic, unstable hybrid. I took 3 clones (which are all still alive after a week) from the largest plant and put them in the same type of soil I used for the yellow plant. If the clones thrive, it may be genetics, if they exhibit the same problems, the soil might be to blame. The only problem with my experiment is that I want to flower in a couple weeks, so I'll have to flower these tiny little clones..hopefully I'll get some micro buds from them.
