yield [Post#: 120887 ]

can anyone give a est. on how much yield one might expect from 9plants under 1100w of light in a normal grow time.
or 4wk veg. 6wk.flower.

everyone should be free.not just me.

hey oldude im no expert, but i think that a 1100w hid is easily able to produce at least one half to one and a half
pounds of bud. with only nine, sounds like it could use more plants under that light to get those kinds of results.
but nine plants at 1 oz each would be over a half pound!
good luck

Are you talking about 9 females, or are you starting 9 seeds and want to know how much you could get? If they are just seeds, you can figure half being male. So if you have 5 females it would obviously be quite a bit less. Also, what kind of light? Hydro or soil? Have you ever grown before or do you have someone to help you out a little?

Be Cool!!

How tall were the plants when you started flowering? Have any pics of them then or now? I say you can expect about 1-2 ounces off each plant. But then again, you have only 4 or 5 males, so like the previous reply said..that's a considerable amount lower.

1100 watts?two lights? a 1000 watts with 5 females from seed for 30 days veg won't get you alot.more veg time is needed from seed for good yields(except maybe in a bubbler) a topping and an extra 10-14 days veg would probably almost double your yield for that 10-14 days of light.generally when the nodes start to offset each other, the plant is ready to flower, this takes more than a month in my experience. If you have to do that short time period then don't expect much, probably not even a qp.a couple months of veg time, a couple toppings, training, and love will produce much more with 5 plants or 9, the right strain, grown in great conditions with a good grower could yield probably 2 pounds give or take imho.gives us all something to shoot for. remember that if growing weed should become legal, than a limit of a few plants will likely be in place, meaning most legal growers will want to yield alot off just one plant, longer vegs times will be needed. peace

Re: yield new [Post#: 121544 / re: 120887 ]

I am also interested in what people's yield experiences are. I'm just another old fart novice. Trying to grow enough to keep me medically fit. I've got a 1KW MH and 1KW HPS. Mylar up the wazoo. 60 Sq Ft minimum. Coincidentally, 60 seeds to start, and plan to grow at least a pair of each variety to seed, so if I blow it at cloning I still have a future. (these are real good indica seeds, but I won't have money to buy more.)

So if I grow 20, and get 10 girls (assuming perfect germination), veg to the max, and then stick them in a 25 Sq Ft grow room under HPS what might I expect from a crop? (I am worried I might not be able to maintain and get to my growing area when the blizzards get serious. So doing one big crop or a couple of cycled ones before the snow comes again is important. I can barely walk as it is. Once it snows, I'm down for months.

Or should I consider staging things, maybe a month apart? Try to clone, re-clone, gro to seed, or top and re-veg?

TIA for your insights.
