02 Feb 2007 There's piracy on the High C....cannabis that is!Join Marijuana Man for the multi-part series about how the business of prohibition is run in Surrey, BC where the RCMP, Fire fighters and BC Hydro have teamed up to mislead the public into believing grow-ops are dangerous. They do so only to plunder a huge treasure awaiting them in the form of millions of dollars in fines and service charges.
All fronted by the Fire Chief of Surrey who is merely a puppet of the RCMP...with the claims he makes, he can't help but have his pants burst into flames.

Would drug legalisation really reduce crime overall, and would it make drug use any safer?
Forfeiture Comes To Canada
The first wave of the Tories US style War on Drugs 19 Jan 2007 Ontario's Attorney General went to an Oshawa neighbourhood Thursday to seize a home under the Civil Remedies Act which had been used as a marijuana grow-op."The house has been forfeited to the Crown," Michael Bryant said. "The marijuana grow operation is out of business and up in smoke."
It is the first time the Civil Remedies Act has been used in Oshawa to seize a house which was once used as a grow-op. Bryant said it will not be the last.
