Good show! I'm glad to see more American news on the frontiers of the American Marijuana Party! And some ranting on my part!

Go! Go! Go! What you are doing Marc is fantastic! And Loretta, to be up against those fascist assholes in Alabama takes a lot of courage! Keep your eyes focused up, around and within, for truth is always your surest friends! If you have to peer down, none of us can help that, see the reflection of those totalitarian prohibitionists and their ilk, in the mud and shit of the land they plunder, for that's what their reward will eternally be, fertilizer for the truly righteous!

I'd like to hear more California news on Proposition 215 issues etc. and the evolution of activism there.

What's going on with NORML these daze btw? Are not they the traditional "political activists" for reforming the bad prohibition laws across the States?

It seems a Marijuana Party initiatives are somewhat redundant, are they not? How does NORML and the Marijuana Parties springing up jive?

Or is it that NORML is dominated by democrats and even those wiley neocons? I would guess that there is an ideological gulf apparant between what constitutes "conservative libertarians" and ""liberal democrats"?

Where are the libertarian-leaning pot activists themselves doing in drug reform issues besides supporting the Libertarian Party of the USA? g!

And what about folks who have religious convictions and believe strongly in issues such as the sacremental use of pot, besides other entheogens and sacred plants? Most libertarians seem to be strictly atheistic in their worldview.

Be nice to see some political/ideological debate with some teeth, covering the differing political positions within the Marijuana Party ideals themselves.

You cannot just homogonize everyone's Marijuana Party around a "legalisation banner" without addressing fundamental, almost doctrinal issues of political, social and economic issues, if not fundamental philosophical ideals imo.

Those Liberal MP's who are whining to the Americans for "support" should be fired immediately and even maybe go to jail for treason. But a good public flogging may suffice. We can joke about it, we're Canadians! But I'm sort of serious! Those puffed-up asswipes deserve to be flushed down a toilet head first, for what they did.

The pharmacy bullshit is just a red herring imo. The government of Canada (Liberal, Conservative, NDP, Alliance, whatever...) are all statist, socialist regimes that are bought and paid for by Corporation Inc., and they are slave to their master, the Almight Buck! That's all they care about! Decrim and all the Health Canada flim flam is nothing but political jimjam and jive, and sort of a media trial balloon in a sense, to keep the public mesmerized. It's all leading up to the next election for sure.

The problem imo, is that the political system that claims to mediate the dynamics of LEGALITY in our nation is CORRUPT as hell. The checks and balances of Constitutionality in governance has long been abandoned, if not exploited and manipulated.

Can real justice ever prevail within a totalitarian, police-state system (fascism?) usurping the natural rights of individuals etc. and the reasonable independence of commerce and trade etc.?

Canada seems to have a somewhat health judiciary, at least they seem to uphold Constitutional Democracy, which is the best politics can ever hope for imo.

McLellan and the ilk of Health Canada are like opportunist ambulance chasers looking to score a fat WOD off of the misfortune and illness of others. Parasites!

Cannabis freedom will never come under the tentacles of such miscreants.

Do I have to go to a pharmacy to score some tea or coffee?

How about tomatoes?

You know, tomatoes have medicinal properties.

They make me blissful too, especially when I have opportunity to throw a juicy, fat rotten one at one of those scurrilous scumbags who pretend to represent the voting public. A pie is too kind!

Just because cannabis "feeds the mind", (gets you high) this over-rated,bloated and corrupt institution besides, (the Medical Establishment?)believes it has the duty and right to impose its paternalistic, parochial moralisms over what constitutes medicine, for the masses.

Funny eh, how pretty well the three most corrupt professions throughout history are politicians (and all its parasitic variants such as judges, lawyers and bureaucrats ), the doctors (snake oil peddlers) and not to
forget the hallowed halls of the cults of academia (and its hubristic authoritarians, the professors, preachers and its propaganda conditioners, the media whores!)!

Shifting cannabis from one tyranny of exploiters (the judicial establishment) to another (the medical stablishment) will still keep it in the black market, especially as the cops keep their Al Capone capers going, as they seek and destroy those evil "grow op's" and keep milking the public of its limited taxation resources, their sacred CASH COW to give them an EXCUSE for their ridiculously over-rated and over-blown "drug war" budgets.

Tar and feather 'em all!

I've come to the conclusion that "freeing the herb" isn't really about "legalisation" at all. Cannabis is NATURALLY LEGAL, just like the natural right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

It's the scam and fraud of Prohibition that is the problem.

In fact, for the most part, "government" and "fraud" are synonyms!

Well, hope you don't mind the ranting commentary.

I need a toke and I'm dry presently... my tongue gets caustic unfortunately.

Damn slimy politicians. One of the best things I think we can do about this situation is to send letters to as many newspapers as you know of. Once there is light on the matter these guys will be dazzled by it and withdraw to the shadows under a rock.

Oh and about the Hotbox Cafe in Toronto... Can someone confirm that the address is indeed 191a baldwin st?
