The lighting still stinks, but Laura is attempting to get off the pharm drugs that make her so sensitive to light. Personally, I won't produce more shows of this type because they are hard on the eyes, paced too slowly, and have the potential to be boring.
The next show should be mostly outdoor footage, interviews, much better color and saturation, and a better pace. The drugs do more than sensitize Laura to light; she often can't remember her train of thought. That's some of the smoke talking, but mostly this pharm drug, upon which she will elaborate more in future episodes and also her speaking engagements at Canabian Day on August 21 in Niagara and Toronto. I like exposing the reality of how the mainstream pharmaceutical solution is not truly helpful and actually harms her performance and health. But between the lighting and how the pharm drugs affect her, it decreases the production quality and viewer experience.
The bad part about this episode is that it is not indicative of future shows; I hope the green light mode never again characterizes Laura's show (it will not be her trademark, but it is truly driven by medical necessity). Thus, we will strive to eliminate it for the sake of both Laura's health and the audience's viewing pleasure.
