One big problem in talking about politics is that folks have different assumptions and end up talking past on another. So to make things clear, one of my central beliefs is international solidarity. Since both Bush and Kerry have promised a bloodbath in Iraq, a vote for either one is an endorsement for that bloodbath. I can't in good conscience do that. John Kerry has also endorsed all of the major components of the Bush domestic agenda, including the PATRIOT Act.
I have admired Marc for giving a wide range of opinions an opprotunity to speak out in the past, even ones that he disagrees with. I dare anyone to call me an agent provocateur.

Thats right! Kerry might not be the best, but he is a step in the right direction, and stands a good chance of winning. I think its time we changed our stragety from organizing fringe parties with no chance at becoming elected, to systematically ratcheting the elected government more and more in our direction.
But like Marc said, the worst is when people do nothing at all. At least people that organize small political parties do something to make thier voice heard. The most important thing, is that everyone who smokes pot gets off thier ass and goes to vote for SOMEONE. discuss this show in the CC forums >
