COUNTY OKS MEDICAL MARIJUANA IDS OAKLAND, CA -- After hearing from more than a dozen speakers -- some in wheelchairs and others with canes -- the Alameda County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 Tuesday to support issuing medical marijuana identification cards.
CITY COUNCIL TO REVIEW MEDICAL POT DISPENSARIES HAYWARD, CA -- The City Council agreed Tuesday night to consider sanctioning medical marijuana dispensaries at its next meeting.
GOVERNMENT APPEALS MARIJUANA RULING PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND -- The federal justice department will appeal the ruling of a P.E.I. provincial court judge. Justice Ralph Thompson stayed a marijuana possession charge against a 19-year-old last Friday, challenging the federal marijuana laws.
