 | Pot-TV | Tucson Postal Inspectors seize ton of marijuana in two days 0 min 11 Nov, 2004 It's marijuana harvest season. Of course, law enforcement knows that, but so does the U.S. Post Office. In the last two days, postal authorities have seized over a ton of pot. Over 2 million pieces of mail go thru the processing and distribution center at the CherryBelle station every day. Among those, packages marked "Parcel Post" or "Priority Mail." Postal Inspector Jim Harper says, "It's alleged 90% of all drugs coming into the country are coming from Southern Arizona. Obviously, a lot of that moves through the mail."
