 | Pot-TV | Newshawks: Western Australian Anti-Cannabis Rally 33 min 30 Jul, 2003 On the 15th of May 2003, the Liberal and National Parties of Western Australia and the Coalition Against Drugs organised an anti-cannabis rally on the steps of Parliament House to protest the Cannabis Control Bill 2003. This bill will remove criminal penalties, replacing them with a system of infringement fines for up to 30g and 2 non-commercial plants.
The Bill is in its Second Reading in the Upper House and is expected to pass any week now, with implementation taking approximately 6 months. |
