18 Mar 2006 OAKLAND, Calif. -- Members of the Drug Enforcement Administration announced a huge marijuana bust in Oakland Thursday.Among the confiscated items were thousands of pot plants and hundreds of pot-laced candy bars made to look like popular candy bars.
Agents arrested 39-year-old Kenneth Affolte, of Lafayette. Twelve other people were also arrested on charges of distribution of marijuana.

Thousands Of Marijuana Plants Seized 18 Mar 2006 OAKLAND, Calif. -- Authorities confiscated marijuana-laced candy and soft drinks made to look like popular brands during a California drug bust Thursday.Agents also seized four indoor marijuana growing operations, between 4,000 and 5,000 marijuana plants, $100,000 in cash and three weapons, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

10 Mar 2006 A home in downtown Salt Lake City was more than just a place to live. It was home to a marijuana cultivation project.Police say basically the house had a garden full of pot plants. They found 20 of them.
Sgt. Ryan Atack/Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "The individual had been growing marijuana here for a year, for personal use and possibly distribution. We're still investigating that angle."
