Stoned Owl Hides Out In Christmas Tree
15 Dec 2005 SARASOTA, Fla. -- A bird with a buzz found in a Florida family's Christmas tree is getting ready to go back into the wild.The little screech owl was found in the tree, which the family had kept for five days before deciding to decorate it.
Animal control officers from Pelican Man's Bird Sanctuary came to get the owl, and said they smelled a strange odor on it when they did.
"Curiously enough, the owl's feathers smelled very, very potently like marijuana," said Jeff Dering, of the sanctuary. "They examined the owl, looked at its eyes ... and the owl was, in the vernacular, stoned."

Michael Irvin Arrested For Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia 06 Dec 2005 Officer: "The reason I stopped you, you were going 78 in a 60." Officer: "I thought you looked familiar."It started out as a routine traffic stop.
Then the officers learned Irvin had a warrant out for his arrest for failing to pay a traffic fine.
Officer: "I've got some bad news for you, you have some warrants out for your arrest."
During a search of his car police found a drug pipe with a plastic bag containing marijuana residue.
Officer: "Im not charging you for the weed, I'm charging you for the paraphernalia."
