Newshawks: Revisiting Rebagliati With athlete's of all kinds turning to marijuana for rest and relaxation, and the Olympics taking place, it is little wonder that CBC.ca is Revisiting Rebagliati:
"The addition of snowboarding into the Olympic program was met with suspicion from both sides. Snowboarders raised concerns about maintaining their counterculture roots. The Olympic hosts, on the other hand, viewed the sport warily but hoped that it would boost interest with the younger generation. And then along came Ross Rebagliati, a 26-year-old free spirit who caused more controversy when the IOC threatened to take away his gold medal after he tested positive for cannabis."

Newshawks: Winnipeg teen busted smoking pot near cop shop A teenager in Winnipeg committed a bit of a faux pas in front of a police station on Friday afternoon. He lit up a joint right outside the building's doors.
"I'd say this would be the dumb criminal of the week," Const. Shelly Glover told the Winnipeg Sun.

Newshawks: Quebec police arrest six in big marijuana bust Neighbors Who Narc Must Be Exposed! Quebec police say information from the public helped them raid a huge marijuana grow operation in the western part of the province.
The raid was in a remote field near Otter Lake, north of Gatineau, and it netted police some 5,000 plants with a street value of $10 million.
