This is a high quality variety worth around $90,000 on the street. It's that high quality factor that worries drug treatment providers.
"The truth of it is, it's eight times more powerful than it was back in the 1970s," says Dale Christensen, Director of Drug/Alcohol Treatment at North Central Healthcare.

It was a package filled with 30 pounds of marijuana.The two bricks of marijuana were delivered by Federal Express on Thursday. The pot has a street value of about $12,000. The package had a return address from California.

21 Dec 2005 Kern County Supervisors unanimously approved a Medical Marijuana ID Card program Tuesday, making it among the first in the state.County lawyers advised the board to delay a decision on the state mandated program.
The lawmakers wanted to see how San Diego County was planning to fight the rules.
Four arrested, thousands of pot plants seized
21 Dec 2005 Last week, Washington County authorities arrested four people for allegedly growing marijuana at three different homes in Saint Paul Park.The big bust resulted in the seizure of more than 2,000 pot plants.
It began last Monday at 1335 3rd St., where authorities opened the door and found 365 marijuana plants.
Sheriff Steve Pott called it part of the biggest marijuana growing operation in recent memory.
