RCMP FINALLY ADMITS BUD FOR COCAINE TRADE A LIE:
Mounties' web site now admits that the exchange of cocaine for Canadian marihuana on a pound for pound ratio is "an urban legend." "Wholesale cocaine sells for $10,000 US to $18,000 US per kilo. Wholesale prices for marihuana in the USA range between $4,000 and $8,000 per kilo. Any exchange at par would obviously not constitute a sound commercial transaction."
POLICE MUST RETURN MEDPOT, JUDGE RULES
Hoping to set a precedent for future cases, a judge ruled Tuesday that the San Luis Obispo Police Department must return 8.2 grams of pot it confiscated from a medical marijuana patient.
